John 13:27-30 King James Version (KJV)
27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

    John 13:27-30
NSB 27 After he was given the piece of bread Satan entered him. Jesus said to him: »Do what you do quickly.« 28 No man at the table knew for what purpose he spoke this to him. 29 Some thought Judas was going to shop for food for the feast or give something to the poor. Judas was in charge of the moneybox. 30 He received the morsel of bread and left immediately. It was night.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

27 Satan entered him, this was something Satan was to be a part of, it was God’s plan for Jesus to die but it was also something Satan wanted, but Satan had no power to stop the plan. Satan was in him and had to listen to the Lord’s command, Jesus has power over Satan.

28 The Lord will do things that we will not understand, sometimes we may understand over time but there will be some things we never truly understand, but we still to trust Him even with a lack of understanding.

29 They thought, sometimes people will jump to ideas about what the Lord wants of us, sometimes we may jump to ideas, we should never let our ideas hurt their service to the Lord but we are to encourage the Lord’s will.

30 Judas ate then he went out to do, we are to go out and do the Lord’s will, our task will be much better than Judas’s and we will not have Satan guiding us along our way.
