Dream of 7/26/07 Empty Dream of 7/26/07

Post by Susan Thu Apr 10, 2008 10:19 am

I have shared this with HLA in pm, and asked her to post the meaning of this dream. We both feel it is a call to pray for Israel. Here is what I shared in pm:

I have bits and peices of a dream, I want to share with you...

The first time I woke up I heard the words: Impending war...as I fell back to sleep rather quickly, and the dream continued. I saw men praying with the teflin wrapped around thier arm, at what looked to be the Western Wall in Israel. As they were praying, the teflin turned into snakes. I heard, Peace, Peace...but all around there was no peace, only war.

This is all I have for now, my husband woke me up when he came home. Please pray that I am able to continue the dream...not sure if the thundering weather had me dreaming about this, or the recent news about the Peace Talks in Israel, or if the LORD is preparing us for things to come.

    The interpretation given through HLA:

"And you shall bind them as a sign on your arm, and they shall be as frontlets on your head between your eyes."Deuteronomy 6:8

Hi Susan, I believe in your dream the Lord is showing you the demonic powers that are at work at this time. Jews that wear the Tefillin are showing that they keep God's commandments constantly in mind. However there are those that are going against the Lord by dividing the land. Dividing the land is dishonoring God's covenant. The scriptures are very clear in Joel chapter 1 and 2 as to what will happen if the land is divided. I believe the Lord is showing this to you so that you may pray for Israel and to call others to prayer. I have been deeply praying about the dreams the Lord has given me that we discussed the other day. I do believe that they are calling us to prayer. Most of the dreams contain symbolism referring to evil, cunning men. The dog dream and the bear dream that i have posted are referring to this. Things are heating up. God is revealing this to many. I will pray that the Lord continue to speak to you on this word. Thankyou for sharing this.

Some more information. In regards to the symbolism in your dream I find the meaning of the Tefillin very important.

(Mishneh Torah, Laws of Tefillin, 4.25-6) puts it: "Great is the sanctity of tefillin, for as long as the tefillin are upon man's head and arm, he is humble and God-fearing and is not drawn after frivolity and idle talk, and does not have evil thoughts, but directs his heart to words of truth and righteousness.

The strap of' the hand tefillin is then wound thrice around the middle finger while the verses (from Hosea 1:21-2) are recited: "And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgement, and in lovingkindness, and in mercy: I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord."

In the rabbinic tradition, the tefillin are to be worn on "the weaker hand".

This is some more information that I received because of this interpretation:

That is interesting...they hold thier hand with the tefellin over thier heart...as a promise. It is also a morning prayer...
