40 day prayer

Today, I am starting a 40 day prayer request, for another Christian forum that will be closing soon. The 40 day prayer will end on May 10th. Christians Corner was a place of refuge and great friendships have been forged there. I am deeply saddened by the feeling of the loss, of such a place to fellowship. Please join me in praying for all the Amdinistration/Moderation team and all the members that have joined over the years, and for the new members that are still joining it. Also, be in prayer for one of the moderator's as she prepares a new forum for the members to join.

Psalms 18:1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

The LORD is our strength. Praise the LORD for giving us HIS WORD.

Dear Father, we thank you for your family at CC and we ask that you bless each member as the changes are taking place. Remind us that for everything there is a reason, and a time and purpose. As the time for CC draws to a close, we ask that we can rely on YOUR Strength, to get us through to the next step in a new forum home. Guide Amberiel as she prepares the new forum. Be with John as he is released from this ministry and move him forward in the ministry that you are preparing for him. Guide each of the Moderator's, Administrator's and each member, in the direction that you would have them to go. Be with each member, and guide every step. We praise you LORD for the time that we have shared at CC, and for each life that has been touched by this ministry. With every breath, we praise you, LORD! In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Focus for today:

The Comfort of Love

Philippians 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Dear Father, we thank you that we can stand assured of YOUR WORD that we will know the comfort of YOUR LOVE, through JESUS. Lord, we ask you to continue the process that is necessary for this change to take place and that we become likeminded, having YOUR LOVE for one another, that we grow closer to YOU. Thank you for sending us YOUR SON, JESUS, that loved us so very much that HE was willing to lay down HIS life, in order to free us from the bodages of sin. Place a new desire within our hearts as the new home for CC' members is being prepared. Let us remember that this is a labour of love. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Guidance

Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Dear FATHER, thank you for the guidance that you have given to John, and the moderator's of CC. Continue to guide them in ministry. LORD, we also ask that you guide each member and remind us that you are always with them. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Praise

Psalms 56:10 In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

Dear FATHER, we praise you for YOUR WORD. We give thanks to YOU for all the promises that are never forgotten, through YOUR WORD for us. Thank you that even in what seems a dark and sad moment we can depend upon YOU to carry us through. Let all the earth, priase YOUR NAME forever. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Grace

Goodness and Mercy

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for your GOODNESS and MERCY for us. Without this we would still be lost in this world. LORD we ask that you continue to show us YOUR WAY, and that we always follow YOU. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Fellowship

Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Dear FATHER, we thank you that we have had a place to fellowship with one another, through CC. We PRAISE YOU, for all the things that have come out of this time of fellowship and we ask you to remind us daily of each person that has crossed our paths. Help us to remember to pray for them. All these things we ask in JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Focus for today:

Joy

John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for the joy that YOU have given us, through YOUR LOVE for us. LORD we ask that you continue to pour joy into our hearts and minds as we meditate upon your WORD for each of us. Remind us of the joy that we have shared at CC. Let this joy become contagious among those that we may cross paths with along the way. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Rejoice

Psalms 33:21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

Dear FATHER, we thank you that we can always rejoice and trust in YOUR HOLY NAME. We thank you that in our rejoicing that YOU bring to remembrance all the good things that YOU have given each of us, through YOUR SON, JESUS. Remind us that even in times of uncertainty, that we can trust in YOUR WORD, and stand rejoicing. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Dear FATHER, you are worthy of all our praise! Thank you for the blessings you bestow upon us each day. Help us to praise you continually from morning until evening, that we meditate with our praises for you. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Supplying for needs

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for all the things that you supply for us each day. We can stand upon YOUR WORD, that when provisions of this world are not available to us, that we can trust in YOU, to supply all our needs according to your riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS. LORD, bless each person that belonged to Christian Corner with daily provisions. Help us to depend less upon things of this world Thank you that we can know YOU, will supply all our needs. Dear FATHER, thank you for showing us the way to walk with YOU, through YOUR WORD. We can stand knowing that as we rejoice in YOU, that we are shining a light for the world to see. Guide our steps and keep us on YOUR narrow path. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Foundation

Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD, that we can stand assure that your children are to built upon the foundation of JESUS CHRIST. HE is the CHIEF CORNER STONE and we are framed together, with HIM, for a HOLY TEMPLE in YOU. We praise you for sending JESUS to save us, and to make us HOLY through HIS BLOOD. As the words to a hymn goes,"...on JESUS CHRIST the ROCK I stand, all other ground is sinking sand...", we can remian confident in all our daily trials that we are firmly planted on JESUS, the ROCK of our SALVATION. We are no longer strangers in a foreign land, but have a HOME in YOUR HOUSEHOLD. We ask you to continue to guide all of the members of Christian Corner, as they make a new path that you have put them on. Remind them daily, that they are members of YOUR HOUSEHOLD, built upon YOUR FOUNDATION, JESUS. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Dear FATHER, thank you for YOUR WORD, concerning time. We often forget that YOU have given us a time for everything under heaven. AS Christian Corner is no longer a part of our daily activity, remind us that as this door has closed, there is another door opening to each of the members. Assure us as we walk through our time upon this earth that we look forward to the time, when JESUS shall return for all your children, and we will have an eternity of time in heavenly places to spend with YOU. Thank you FATHER, for reminding us that time belongs to YOU, and help us to spend more time seeking YOU daily, through prayer, praise and YOUR HOLY WORD. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for all the blessings that you have bestowed upon us. We praise you that we can stand before you holy and without blame, because of YOUR SON, JESUS, sacrifice for us. We ask that you continue to bestow YOUR BLESSINGS, on us as we go forward in YOUR WORD, to do YOUR WILL, in our daily lives. Guide our steps, our mind, and our eyes. Run the race

Dear FATHER, we thank you for setting the pace for us to run the race that is set before us. We can look in front of us and find JESUS, who is the author and finisher of our faith. We can look to HIS JOY, as HE endured the cross for our sins, that we might become sin free, through HIM. We praise you that HE is seated at YOUR RIGHT HAND. We ask you to guide our steps so that we are always headed in the direction that YOU would have us go. Help us not to loose our focus on the prize, which YOU have set before us. Guide each of Christian Corner's members as they are set on a new path, and may the path always lead us directly to YOU. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Being humble before the LORD

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD, that as we submit ourselves humble before you that YOU will care for us. We praise you and exalt you. YOU ALONE, are our LORD. Fill us with YOUR GRACE, YOUR PEACE and let us serve only YOU. Thank you FATHER, that we can remove our pride, and stand clothed in humility of YOUR SAVING POWER. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. Help us to grow in the Fuirt of the Spirit, as YOU would have us to be. Teach us YOUR WAY. We thank you that we are crucified in the flesh and that JESUS has conquered the grave and our sins, for us. We thank you that we now have life more abundant through JESUS. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Dear FATHER, thank you for YOUR WORD and YOUR TRUTH. We ask that you sanctify us through YOUR WORD and YOUR TRUTH, through JESUS CHRIST, our SAVIOR, AMEN.

Focus for today:

Thanksgiving

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Dear FATHER, we thank you that we can come before you with all our needs, and that you will hear our prayers. We ask you to show us more ways of showing our thanks for everything that you have done, will do and are doing, in our daily life. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Focus for today:

Strength

Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Dear FATHER, YOU are our strength and our redeemer. We thank you for YOUR WORD. Gaurd our mouths so that we speak only that which you would have us to speak. Guide our hearts to meditate upon YOU, continually. Let us remain acceptable in YOUR sight. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Charity

1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 14 Let all your things be done with charity.


Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. We ask that you help us to stand fast in our faith, and that all things that we do, be done in charity. Let us not forget the gift of love that was given to us, and let us now pass that gift on to others, through JESUS CHRIST, our SAVIOR. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Renewing our mind

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. Help us to live daily for YOU, through our bodies as a living sacrifice that is acceptable to YOU. LORD, renew our minds daily through YOUR WORD. Let YOUR PRAISE and YOUR GRACE be evident in our daily life. Allow others to see YOU, through our actions. IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Denying worldly lusts

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD, and that we can be assured that it will not return to YOU, void. Help us to live by YOUR WORD, and gaurd us against worldly lusts of the flesh. Help us to deny these things in order that we may stand purified through JESUS. Give us a desire to do YOUR WILL in our daily lives. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Trusting the LORD

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. We thank you that we can trust YOU in all things. YOU PRAISE YOU and we are greatful for everything that YOU have done, are doing and will do for us. We ask YOU to continue to show us daily that we can rely upon you with our every need and that nothing is too small or too large for YOU to handle for us. Teach us to trust YOU more each day. Show us the WAY that YOU would have us go. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

JESUS, the author and finisher of our faith

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. We thank you for sending YOUR SON, JESUS, who is the author and finisher of our faith. Help us to remain focused on HIM, and not on the things of this world. Let us finish the course that is set before us that we may obtain the prize. Help us to remember that JESUS died for our sins, and that we have accepted HIS free gift to us. Help us to show others that because of JESUS, we can endure and will remain strong in our walk. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Comforter

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Dear FATHER, we thank you for sending us YOUR COMFORTER, the HOLY GHOST that dwells with us. Thank you that through the HOLY SPIRIT we find YOUR ANNOINTING on our lives. Thank you for teaching us YOUR WAY through the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT. Thank you for never forsaking us or leaving us alone. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Being followers

Ephesians 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. Help us to become followers and let us walk in the love of CHRIST for YOU. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Living Water

John 4:9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Dear FATHER we thank you for YOUR WORD. We ask that you give us LIVING WATER, which leads us to EVERLASTING LIFE, through YOUR SON, JESUS. We are like the woman at the well, and are thristing for something that this world cannot fill us with, but only through YOUR SON, JESUS, will we be filled and never thrist again. Show us the way that leads us to YOU. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Walking in truth

2 John 1:1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; 2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. 3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.


Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. Hep us to walk in YOUR TRUTH, and let us love one another as YOU have commanded us. Be with each member of Christian Corner, as they are each walking in YOUR LOVE. IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Pray

Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: 12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. Teach us to pray without ceasing. Remind us of the things that we need to pray for. Help us to lift one another up in praywe to YOU, daily. Increase our faith as we pray and may our prayers turn into YOUR PRAISE, for YOU are WORTHY. Thank you for each member of Christian Corner that we have gotten to know. Be with them and guide them, in all things. If it be YOUR WILL, bring them together again. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

To prepare

Dear FATHER, we thank you for your WORD. Thank you for sending JESUS to prepare a way for us to dwell. Guide us towards the places that YOU have prepared for us. Help us to prepare othres by sharing YOUR WORD with them. Help us to lead others to SALVATION through JESUS. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Labour of love

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. We thank you for John and all the moderators and administrators that have helped him to build a place that we enjoyed visiting, at Christian Corner. Remind John that YOUR WORD will not come back void, and that his labour of love has touched so many lives over the years that Christian Corner's forum was up. We thank you for his faithfulness to YOU. Guide him in the path that YOU have placed before him, in JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Door of the Sheep

Dear FATHER, we thank you for YOUR WORD. We thank you for sending JESUS to be our GOOD SHEPHERD. We thank you that we recognise HIS VOICE and we know HIM! We thank you that HE knows each of us by name. We praise YOU that HE goes out before us, and that we follow HIM. Thank you LORD as we go through the Door of the Sheep and follow JESUS, each and every day. Be with each member of Christian Corner as they are now being led in different directions, by the GOOD SHEPHERD. We ask that YOU lead them in safety and peace. In closing of this 40 day prayer for Christian Corner, I would like to add the following prayer and focus:

Door opened in Heaven

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Dear FATHER we thank you for YOUR WORD. Thank you that we will one day hear the trumpet calling us to heaven. We ask that you will bring Christian Corner's members peace and comfort them as we await that great day! We praise you for the time that we have been given to share with one another, under John's guidance. We thank you for each member of the Admin and moderation team that worked together to keep the forum running smoothly. We ask that YOU BLESS and GUIDE each of us. Let the door be opened for each ministry that YOU have placed in us. Make the PATHWAY PLAIN before us, and go before us to prepare the WAY. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.

Did you know that nearly 255 Million people in America, don't know JESUS as thier PERSONAL SAVIOR? What is even sadder, is that many NEVER HEAR the GOSPEL MESSAGE. Many of these people, live RIGHT IN OUR OWN NEIGHBORHOODS!

"EVERY PERSON IS WORTHY of hearing about the LOVE of GOD."

This is a CALL to INTENTIALLY PRAY for the LOST and DYING WORLD. JESUS said:

Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

The GREAT COMISSION is for us to GO and TELL. The LORD did not tell us to think about it, or wait upon someone else to do it. It is a COMMISSION for ALL of us, to GO and TELL.

Our Church will begin a forty day Prayer Vigil starting March 1st through April 9th. At the end of this 40 Day Prayer Vigil, there will be a 3 day OUTREACH EVANGELISM EVENT in our CITY. Some of our Prayer focus will be:

*A MARCH to REVIVAL.

*For our children and those that work with the children.

*That people within the Church will feel the burden for the lost, and come and pray.

*That every Church within our Association, will participate in this City Wide event.

*For a RENEWED COMMITMENT and PASSION for making, maturing and mobilizing disciples.

*That CHRISTIANS will begin to SUBMIT to the LORDSHIP of JESUS CHRIST.

*The CHURCH be FULLY REVITALIZED.

*That eyes and hearts will be open to what AMAZING THINGS the LORD wants for AMERICA.

*That the LORD will prepare hearts to recieve the WORD.

These are just a sampling of the 40 days of Prayer, that our Church will be praying for. I invite anyone who has a HEART to SERVE the MIGHTY LIVING GOD, in thier own CITY, in thier OWN COUNTRY, to join us, in this PRAYER EVENT. We can BRING in the HARVEST, with the LORD LEADING US!

Are you willing, asks the MASTER? Do you have the HEART of the LORD, to SEEK and to SAVE that which is lost?
