The GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT Empty The GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT

Post by Susan Mon Jan 12, 2009 1:05 am

Our Sunday School Teacher asked a question this morning, concerning the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT.

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

He said he had asked several Pastors and Theologians, what it meant to them, to stand before GOD, and answer to everything we have ever done, or for that matter, didn't do. The answers he recieved were very mixed, and he stated a few of them, were even confusing. As the class was brought into the discussion, I simply said the following:

I see myself being ushered in, standing before the LORD, and shown all the sceens of my life, and the LORD asks me why I had or hadn't done certain things. Then JESUS steps forward, as my DEFENSE, and says, "this one is under MY BLOOD". I am then ushed out of the room.

What is your thoughts, on the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT?
