    Silver cleaner Empty Silver cleaner

    Ingredients:

Hot water, table salt, water softner (such as baking soda or borax) a pie pan or aluminum foil.

    How to do:

I use the kitchen sink, and put enough water to cover the silver item that I want cleaned. Put the pie pan or alumnium foil in the bottom of the sink and cover with hot water, salt and water softner. ( I don't really measure this, but estimate) Swish the item around until the tarnish starts to remove. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Usually, the item will come clean the first time. You may have to scrub with a soft cloth for more stubborn tarnish.

    Storage:

Store this in white tissue paper to keep the silver from tarnishing as fast.
