    Vitamin C Empty Vitamin C

According to Prevention magazine, vitamin C, may do more than boost your immunity. It can also protect your knees against arthritus. People who eat higher doses of vitamin C are less likely to develop bone degeneration that leads to knee osteoarthritis.

Other antioxidants such as lutein and zeaxanthin which are found in green vegetables such as spinach, can also protect agains age related wear and tear.

Vegetables and fruits high in vitamin C: bell peppers, kiwi, tomatoes, oranges.

One orange has a day's worth of vitamin C...and has more than a glass of the orange juice you buy in stores. It may be more beneficial to reach for the orange fruit rather than the processed orange juice.
