Cherokee tale of the "two wolves", in each of us Empty Cherokee tale of the "two wolves", in each of us

This was received in an email. How is it appropriate for a Christian understanding? Pleasse read and find out. I'll give my thoughts about this at the end.

Two Wolves in each of us...

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson

about a battle that goes on inside all people.

He said, 'My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all.

One is Evil... It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt,
resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good... It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.'

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:

    'Which wolf wins?'

The old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed.'

    Here are my thoughts:

The tale is about good verses evil, and it speaks about the heart condition of mankind. The one do you feed, is the answer. Do you nurture your walk with the LORD, which is good, or do you nurture and feed the one that is evil.

It is something to think about.

    The BIBLE says:

Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
