Remembering the Holocaust - lest we forget...

I have shared many times about a customer that I had in NY that had the tattoo number that was given to him in the concentration camps of Nazi Germany. He was a small boy then, and all his family died in gas chambers. He was the lone surviver of his family, and he questions GOD about why he was saved, and none of the other members of his family He questioned why so many jews had died, because of their religion and race. I told him that GOD was using him as a witness to what happened so that this will never happen again...

US Supreme Court won't block Demjanjuk's deportation

Excerpt:

The US Justice Department said Monday that an alleged former Nazi death camp guard has exhausted all legal avenues for trying to remain in the United States and the government remains committed to deporting him.

The department commented after the Supreme Court refused to step into the case of 88-year-old John Demjanjuk.

'I Will Not Travel to Auschwitz'
Bishop Richard Williamson's denial of the Holocaust has done serious damage to the Catholic Church. In an e-mail and fax exchange with SPIEGEL, the ultra-conservative bishop says that he is willing to "review the historical evidence."

French Holocaust role recognised

Between 1942 and 1944, some 76,000 French Jews were deported.

France's highest court has recognised the state's "responsibility" for the deportation of Jews in World War II.

Holocaust Museum: No words to express our grief and shock

Excerpt:

The United States Holocaust Museum Director on Thursday expressed her shock at the fatal shooting that took place at the museum the day before, saying "obviously, there are no words to express our grief and shock."

Sara Bloomfield described Stephen T. Johns, the security guard killed when a neo-Nazi opened fire in the museum as "a great friend who greeted us every day with a wonderful smile - and he will be missed."
