    Carpets Empty Carpets

Post by Hearanddo Thu Nov 12, 2009 4:45 pm

Carpets are a major health hazard.

The main problem with them is that they trap and harbour microbes , spores, and all the other dirt and dust. They are a breeding ground for all that stuff......lol, sorry about the highly technical explanation.

When we hoover them, we throw all this stuff into the atmosphere........ever noticed how you get a cold / calloused throat after hoovering?

(Also new carpets come with some unhealthy chemical treatments, but thats another matter).

So, if you can, live in a house with wooden or stone
floors that you can mop clean!

    Carpets Empty Re: Carpets

Hearanddo, thanks for the great post! I don't have any carpets in my home, just wood floors, that get mopped often. Your right about all the unhealthy stuff, that can get trapped in carpets, and vacuming, doesn't eliminate the problems. One of the main reasons, I don't have carpets, is that we have asthma.
