Is there really hope for me? Empty Is there really hope for me?

I don't think I am a sinner. How can this be?

    The BIBLE tells us:

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

So what, I wasn't the one who made sin?

The BIBLE tells us that we are all sinners.

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Yes, the BIBLE says that we have all sinned and fallen short of the GLORY of GOD. Is there really hope for me?

The answer is, yes. JESUS came so that we could all be freed drom sin and eternal death.

Let's look again at what the BIBLE says:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

You see, GOD loved us while we were yet sinners.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

But, I didn't ask Christ to die for me.

You also didn't ask to be born a sinner, but you have the LORD'S WORD that you are a sinner. The LORD made a way for you to have SALVATION, through the blood of JESUS on the cross. HE died so that you and I could have life more abundant and it is eternal life.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

So how do I get this gift?

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you have read this and are ready to accept JESUS as your personal SAVIOR, please repeat this simple prayer:

Dead LORD, I know that JESUS is YOUR SON, and that HE died on a CROSS and was raised from the dead. I am a sinner, and I need forgiveness of all my sins. I ask that JESUS come into my heart, and change me. Help me turn away from my sin. Thank you LORD, for giving me forgiveness and eternal life and hope, in JESUS NAME. AMEN.
