    The Prophesies of JESUS BIRTH

Messiah would be born of a woman.

Genesis 3:15 (KJV) And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Galatians 4:4 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

    Prosphesies of JESUS birth

Messiah would be born of a virgin.

    Isaiah 7:14-16 (KJV)

14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

    Matthew 1:22-23

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    Luke 1:26-31

26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

Emmanuel means "GOD with us." The term Immanuel or Emmanuel represents the term, "MESSIAH."

JESUS/YESHUA means "Salvation." JESUS/YESUHA represents the term, "SAVIOR."

Whether we call HIM, JESUS, or YESHUA, or IMMANUEL, it is our MESSIAH and SAVIOR, sent from GOD to save us from our sins. The miracle birth of JESUS was given in prophesies, so that we would recognise our LORD and SAVIOR. What GOD starts, HE finishes. We know through the life, burial and ressurection of JESUS, that HE alone was the MESSIAH, that GOD planned on sending to save mankind, from their sins. JESUS fullfilled all the prophesies of the MESSIAH.

May we reflect upon the baby, JESUS. May we know the miracle of HIS BIRTH and why it matters!

Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.

    Micah 5:2-4 (KJV)

2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

    Matthew 2:1-2

2 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

    Luke 2:1-6

2 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

Why Bethleham Euphratah? There are actually two towns called Bethlehem. It was not the one near Galilee, but Joseph had to travel to the place of his paternal lineage and birthtight, which was called the City of David. Why? Because he was from the lineage of David. He had to go to his ancestral homeland! He was to partake in the census, for tax purposes. It was the smallest of cities, and yet it was important, because King David had been born there. JESUS would be born in the humblest place, in the smallest town of Judah.

Bethlehem means ‘‘House of Bread’’, and Ephrathah means ‘’fruitfulness’’. JESUS described himself as the Bread of Life.

Nothing GOD does, is without a reason. GOD is the GOD of order and completion. Bethlehem Euphratah, was in GOD's plans from the beginning! And thankfully, the story does not end there! Being born in a lowly manner, showed the humbleness and mannerisms that JESUS possessed all of HIS life. Born in a small town, in a stable and layed in a manger, because there had been no room in the Inn. No place for the SAVIOR to rest HIS sweet baby head, except a bed of hay. And yet, this man of humblest of beginnings, RULES the NATIONS from HEAVEN today! GLORY to GOD!

May you see the miracles surrounding our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS, with fresh eyes today!

The Prophesies of JESUS BIRTH Empty Re: The Prophesies of JESUS BIRTH

Post by Susan Fri Dec 10, 2021 8:51 am

The massacre of children would happen at Messiah's birthplace

    Jeremiah 31:15 (KJV)

15 Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

    Matthew 2:16-18

16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.

17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

Why would GOD allow innocent chidren and babies to be slaughtered? Well, it boils down to free will. GOD has given each of us free will. Will man use free will to hurt others? Yes! Why did GOD include this gruesome detail in the prophesies about JESUS birth? It is a reminder that men and women will often hurt others when they feel threatened. King Herrod, was threatened by a baby! A baby that others were calling, KING OF THE JEWS! A sort of madness takes over the minds of men, that we cannot understand. But we see it daily today, and have become numb to it. Today, it is the abortion industry that kills millions of babies, in the womb, and even after some survive the butchering of abortion, they are left to die, a tormenting death outside the womb. We hear of organ harvesting, as if, that gives credence to slaughter of innocent lives. We must remember, we are all made in the image of GOD. Our one priority is to care and nurture our babies and children. The decree went out from King Herrod to kill all baby boys under the age of two.(We have the assumption that his decree was for male babies, because he was seeking to kill a male baby king) Herrod, wanted to make sure, he killed a future king. But GOD's plans for JESUS, did not end here. You see, man cannot change what GOD has ordained! GOD has prepared safe passage for HIS baby boy!

We are given free choice also on the Gift of Salvation. JESUS is our SALVATION! What GOD starts, HE will accomplish! You can trust HIM in all things!

    A Star out of Jacob

    Numbers 24:17-19 (KJV)

17 I shall see him, but not now:

I shall bbehold him, but not nigh:

There shall come a Star out of Jacob,

And a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel,

And shall smite the corners of Moab,

And destroy all the children of Sheth.

18 And Edom shall be a possession,

    Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies;

    And Israel shall do valiantly.

19 Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion,

And shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.

    Luke 1:32-33,76-79

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

    76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,

79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

    Revelation 22:16

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

JESUS came to be a LIGHT to the world! May HE be a LIGHT that shines through you, and others may be drawn to HIS ETERNAL LIGHT!

    Born the Savior

    Psalms 22:9-10 (KJV)

9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

    Luke 2:4-7

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

JESUS was born through the natural process of birth known by all mankind.  HE was placed in the womb of HIS eathly mother, by the very HAND of GOD.  GOD's plans for each of us begins, before we are ever in the womb.  As it was with JESUS, from the beginning of time.  GOD planned the salvation of all mankind, through HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. The fact that this was prophesied long before HIS birth, makes it a miracle in and of itself.  A true MESSIAH, will meet all the foretold prophesies about HIMSELF, and fulfill each one. We celebrate HIS Birth at Christmas. Although we do not know the exact date of HIS Birth, we celebrate the fact that HE came in human form, to save us all!

In the wonder of Christmas, may we reflect on the innocense of a newborn baby. May we know that GOD has made plans for every baby. To prosper us and bring us health and happiness. But HIS plans are for a sure prepared future. We can rest in knowing GOD loves us that much, to prepare the way before us!

The God of Shem will be the Son of Shem

    Genesis 9:26-27 (KJV)

26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

    Luke 3:34-38

34 Which was the son of Jacob, which was the son of Isaac, which was the son of Abraham, which was the son of Thara, which was the son of Nachor,

35 Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala,

36 Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,

37 Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,

38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

Through the lineage of Abraham and Issac

Please see: (Abraham) Genesis 12:3 and 7: Galatians 3:16, Acts 25-26

    (Issac) Genesis 21:12, Genesis 17:19, Genesis 22:18, Genesis 26:2–5 and Romans 9:7, Hebrews 11:18, Galatians 3:16

GOD used the lineage from Abraham until Josepth the Carpenter, to establish who the MESSIAH would be! Even Mary's lineage was used to establish the MESSIAH! GOD used Noah's son, Seth, to be included in JESUS lineage. All those that came before JESUS are remembered by GOD! And they were important in establishing the MESSIAH on earth! GOD establishes and HE FULFILLS! We will learn more about some of those listed in the MESSIANIC PROPHESIES, as we go along this strudy.

    The Seed of Judah

    Genesis 49:10 (KJV)

10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

    Luke 3:33

33 Which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda,

Strong's Concordance translates "Shiloh", as tranquil. Another word for tranquil is peace. JESUS is known as the Prince of Peace.

"The Septre shall not pass from Judah"

    Revelation 5:5

5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

"Until Shiloh comes", is a reference to the Messiah.  We know that JESUS has fulfilled these scriptures.  And that HE sets beside the FATHER.  HE alone will be given the power to open the Book mentioned in Revelation 5:5. So, in essence, HE has carried out the prophesy given to Judah, that the MESSIAH would establish HIS KINGDOM forever.  For out of Judah, the MESSIAH would come!

"The gathering of people be", is being fulfilled even today!  For over the last 2000 years, people have been gathered, in one accord, to proclaim their faith in JESUS.
