    Going against the grain Empty Going against the grain

    Post by Susan Fri Aug 13, 2021 9:59 am

    The very day, I decided to step out in faith and proclaim publically, that I would follow JESUS, I became an enemy to the world. In essence, I am going against the grain of society and world views.  Christians, we are called to be set apart.

    1 Peter 2:9-10 (KJV) 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

    10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

    As a Christian, we will walk in HIS PEACE!  We will not fear the world around us.

    John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

    GOD equips us with everything we need, to walk through this world, and yet, not be a party to its directions.  We walk to the beat of a diiferent drummer, so to speak.  GOD always sets apart, that which is HIS!  It's ok to go against the grain of society.
