HE stayed focused on what HE was CALLED to DO. HE DIED for our sins. HE CONQUERED the GRAVE and DEATH. HE said, "It is FINISHED" HE was seen again, after the CROSS. HE completed HIS TASK. HE was RESURRECTED, in front of WITNESSES. HE sent us a HELPER, the HOLY SPIRIT. HE is WITH us. HE never leaves or forsakes us. HE is SEATED on the RIGHT HAND of the FATHER! HE LIVES!     John 14:17-19 King James Version (KJV)
    17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
    18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
    19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

    John 14:17-19
    NSB 17 »It is the Spirit of the truth. The world cannot receive it. The world does not see or know it. You know it because it lives with you and will be with you. 18 »I will not leave you desolate. I will come to you. 19 »A little while and the world will not see me anymore, but you will. I live and you will also live.

    These are my thoughts, please share yours.

    17 The Spirit of Truth both refers to Jesus and scripture, the gospel. The world rejects Christ and the Faith. The world is the world because they do not see the Truth, they are blinded by sin. We as Christians know who He is and know He is with us.

    18 We as Christians are left with the Spirit, we see how by the gift of the Spirit that the church did things that Christ did not do, Christ was one man even though He is God we as His church are many.

    19 We as Christians today live by the Spirit and not for ourselves or others but by the Spirit we can live for Him.
