John 13:9-11
John 13:9-11 King James Version (KJV)
9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.
11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
John 13:9-11
NSB 9 Simon Peter replied: »Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.« 10 Jesus responded: »He that is bathed must wash his feet. He is clean everywhere and you are clean, but not all.« 11 He knew who would betray him. That is why he said you are not all clean.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
9 Peter wants to over do things they are their feet washed and he wants to given a bath. Sometimes the Lord us do something or does something for us and we expect more than what He wanted to be done.
10 Being washed in righteous only comes through faith in the Lord Jesus. We are made clean thru Him. Being clean in the eyes of the Lord does not come from having our feet washed or having a bath but comes from us submitting ourselves to Him.
11 Judas would betray Him, He was one of the disciples chosen by Him, and Jesus washed Judas’ feet as well as He did the other disciples. Judas did not have faith in Him, which would show in his betraying Him.

Re: John 13:9-11
I like the way you describe the meaning of the Bible verses. It's easy to understand and to the point!
