True Worship

True Worship

True worship is born out of the WORD of GOD. It is done with joy.
Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
IN Ezra 6:15-22, the HOUSE of the LORD was finished. King David, the priests and all the people of Israel, prepared a dedication of the house of the LORD. Can you imagine the joy of that day! They sought GOD. They read from HIS WORD. In Nehemiah 8:8 it says,
"So they read the Book of the Law of GOD distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading."
It is by GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT, we can understand HIS WORD and the meaning of HIS WORD for us. It brings joy to our hearts.
FATHER, we thank you for this day, we can gather in YOUR HOUSE. We can read YOUR WORD, and have great joy. We thank you for each precept, for each and every word brings us closer to understanding who we are and who YOU ARE. YOUR WORD is a light to our path and a lamp unto our feet. May we absorb all YOU have for us, as we worship and praise YOUR NAME. LORD, we ask for salvation to come through the hearing of YOUR WORD. We ask blessings upon YOUR PEOPLE. Keep us safe. Be with us throughout the week. Let YOUR WORD be in our hearts and minds. Let is share YOUR GOSPEL freely, forever. In JESUS NAME, AMEN.
