    BLESSINGS! Empty BLESSINGS!

Post by Susan Wed Feb 03, 2010 12:56 pm

The LORD has once again provided BLESSINGS for our family. My kitchen needs a lot of repairs. The cabinets are as old as our house, and in really bad shape. We've been dealing with leaking pipe in the kitchen wall, and the floor near or sink is starting to give way. My house was built in the early 1900's, and needless to say, needs a lot of TLC. Slowly, my hubby and I have turned it into our home. We applied to have some weatherization done to our home, through a county agency, and were qualified. It took a while for all this process to come to fruitition, but we now, have some much needed repairs done to our home. One of the things, that we received was a new refidgerator! Our old refirgerator, was probably 30 0r 40 years old. The new one, was too big to fit under the old cabinets in our kitchen, so we opted to put it in the dining room. This made room to move our stove over, to the old fridge spot, and we also recieved a vent-a-hood, which was installed there. I've gained 3 feet of space in our kitchen, just by having these small changes done! What a difference it made. My kitchen is more functional now, too.

(My hubby will be working on the kitchen cabinets, floor and leaking pipes, soon. Please keep these things in your prayers. GOD always makes a WAY! AMEN.)

With the weatherization, we also got a vapor barrier put under our home, and insulation added under our floors, some other repairs too.

Without the LORD, we feel that these things would have taken much longer for us to do. BUT! GOD made a way. We give him all our HONOR and GLORY, for these things.

We've learned to be content with whatever we have. We know that all BLESSINGS are from the LORD. HE is FAITHFUL and GOOD, to bestow HIS BLESSINGS upon us, and we are humbled and AMAZED.
    cheers

    BLESSINGS! Empty Re: BLESSINGS!

I forgot to add, that the contractor that did the work, was Christian! Having worked in the construction industry, and we have family still working in that industry, we know, that most have a potty mouth, that would make most sailor's blush. These guys were true gentlemen, and all of them, gave the LORD, PRAISE and GLORY, for all the work, they do.

One of the men, has a broken hand, and had just returned to work. Please pray for his HEALING.
