Something I noticed in our dog, Tigger
There is something special about our pets, and those who have never had a pet, may not understand this. They have unconditional love, for their masters. It is something, that can only come from our HEAVENLY FATHER. Yesterday, I was busy cleaning our kitchen, with a little bit of pre-fall cleaning. Washing the walls, shelves, and cabinets down. I had purposely put on one of my favorite Gospel CD's, and turned the volume up, so that I could hear it in the kitchen. Well, normally, Tigger follows me from room to room, but this time he didn't. I went to check on him, and he was laying in the room, where the cd was playing. He seemingly liked the music, and it was soothing to him, too! How wonderful, to know that my little fur baby was being consoled, by the Gospel Music, that we so fondly love and cherish. He has lost two playmates. One was our little Prissy, and in the same week, our neighbor's dog, Spanky.
So, what I noticed, was that the music soothed, Tigger's emotions. Yes, dogs do feel things, just like me or you. Isn't it wonderful to know that the LORD, was using the Gospel Music, to touch our fur baby, when he needed a TOUCH from our HEAVENLY FATHER!
